In Honor of Cinco De Mayo I am sharing my Ultimate Margarita recipe. My BFFs and I recently had a girls's night themed "Pink Fiesta" so naturally I chose to make Margaritas. This time they had to be pink, hence the pink lemonade. If you are looking for a traditional Margarita taste than you may want to stick with tequila and lime juice. This recipe is a bit sweeter from the lemonade but slightly toned down from the secret ingredient "beer." Light beer works best and Corona Light is perfect for this weekend's Cinco De Mayo festivities. Corona Light was tested out and approved on girl's night. As for the tequila, use whatever you prefer. I prefer Patron over all others, but we have a bottle to lips relationship haha. In this case we used Hornitos white tequila to help preserve some of the pink color. Pour this concoction over rocks and garnish with a lime wedge. We also used a salt and red sugar combo for rimming. For those peeps that enjoy a blended frosty drink instead of over rocks, just add all the same ingredients to the blender with ice and you will get the same Delicious results!
Ladies you won't be disappointed with this drink. For us it was a slam dunk night. My girlfriends, margaritas, and pink, what more could a girl ask for?!!
Have a Fabulous weekend! CHEERS!
